Position: Digital Marketing Administrator Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintains digital marketing platforms performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting systems
  • Upgrades web system by conferring with vendors and services; testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software, and plugins
  • Maintaining and dealing with all the technical requirements of other digital marketing platforms including but not limited to websites, hosting and domain accounts, social media tools, analytics and automation tools.
  • Implementation of solid UI/UX principles for responsive layout features and user interface
  • Customization of WordPress Theme templates, layouts, and styles (PHP, HTML, CSS)
  • Review and implementation of plugins
  • Troubleshooting and correction of layout and/or performance issues
  • Execution of website changes requested by marketing and design personnel
  • Collaboration with copy writing and marketing personnel for post/page/file creation and management
  • Managing and maintaining hosting, domains and other web assets

Digital Marketing Administrator Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Understanding
  • Ability to learn managing digital marketing platforms such as social media pages, website backend, and analytics tools
  • System Administration
  • Ability to work in stressful situations
  • Learning on the fly/adaptive
  • WordPress Skills (Moderate/Advanced)
  • Ability to work independently and as a group
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline
  • Knowledge of principles and industry best practices of web page, construction and maintenance
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written) to department
  • Ability to multi-task and organize, prioritize, and escalate when necessary.
